Aeron offers the perfect combination of performance and design. Even over 20 years after its debut, the best selling Herman Miller office chair is still setting the standards for ergonomic comfort.

Used versus new

 

Even a relatively fresh example of the classic Aeron (one that is <5 years old for instance) is no match for the new, updated Aeron. The improved suspension material and tilting mechanism make an especially huge difference in terms of comfort and ergonomics.

We recommend going for the Economy edition of the new Aeron instead of an older, refurbished chair. A classic Aeron that has been properly refurbished will still cost about € 800,-. Yet, despite the refurbishing process, the seat (on average) will still have logged more than 25.000 hour of use and you miss out on all the great new features of the updated Aeron. If so desired, the Aeron Economy can be upgraded with additional back support. The Economy model does not come with a tilt limiter. However, you are unlikely to miss that option since the Aeron’s unique motion capabilities are what make it so desirable. When comparing a refurbished Aeron with a brand new Economy model, these are the main differences:

TL:DR: Negative experience, and clearly there are communication issues. The owner seems to be packed with orders due to COVID-19 (as he claims), and because business is blooming, he doesn't find it necessary to reply to emails or deliver a chair as promised, after it was ordered on his website.Me and my wife went to pick up a chair. The owner have accepted us really nicely, gave us an overview and was patient. From this point, I have asked the owner whether it's possible to have a trial chair delivered by a certain date. He agreed, and asked me to note this down in the comments section. I have selected a chair to try-out and ordered it via the website. Since this was not availble in stock, I emailed him and never got a reply back. After 8 days, I asked if there are any updates, and he offered two other type of chairs to rent for the same date. I also asked him to let me know if there are any changes. Needless to say he never showed up with any of these chairs, or called me. After a few days, I tried to reach out again, and he didn't bother replying back.Even though I have back problems and really need a comfortable chair, I have decided to cancel the order, and I would definitely recommend buying Herman Miller chairs elsewhere, preferably from someone who respects their customers.

I am very happy with the Herman Miller product and the service from LoyalBrand. Heerco has been extremely helpful and diligent throughout the whole process - choosing a chair model, delivering it and explaining all the adjustments.I've experienced the "only satisfied when you are" promise in practice. For office chair we always knew that Herman Miller was the best especially for the type of work that we do and sitting for such a long time. We wanted to replace our office chairs and my husband came across LoyalBrand website. So we ordered 2 Aeron chairs and we are absolutely happy with it! I'm really, REALLY happy with this chair (Mirra 2), I think it's fantastic. Also I'm so glad about the advice you gave me during the delivery day, because having a great chair but then not being able to know what posture is good and what's bad doesn't help.I wish somebody at work would have advised me about not having the lower part of my wrist to the corner of the table! (they give us general clues but not that one, and I think I have got something in my fingers because of that... let's hope it goes away)
