Lean, light and reactive support for people that are constantly in motion.
The way we work is continually changing. In the blink of an eye we switch from being submerged in heads-down, individual work to larger collaborative efforts. To support these changes, we need tools that are as dynamic as the people that use them. To fulfill that need, the designers from Studio 7.5 wanted to create a robust chair that would be capable of supporting people that are constantly in motion.
Mirra 2 moves with you. It seamlessly blends with its user. Backrest and seat pan adjust to you immediately when sitting down. Thanks to dynamic surfaces that react to the most subtle movements and simple, intuitive adjustability options that tailor the chair even closer to your needs, the Mirra 2 offers the perfect balance between immediate comfort and personalized ergonomics in a tasteful package.
Behind a desk and yet you’re moving.
Good support for seated movement starts with a flexible, but well supporting chair that doesn’t restrict the body’s natural movement. The Mirra 2’s looped backrest offers flexibility, allowing you to stretch and grab someting from a shelf or a nearby desk. Meanwhile, the Harmonic 2 tilt mechanism provides a smooth and balanced feel as you recline.
Two different backrest options ensure the Mirra 2 works for different users and applications. The ultra-responsive Butterfly Back results from inventing a method for merging a fabric layer with polymer veins to create a dynamic hybrid structure that acts like a suspension membrane. The polymer TriFlex back meets more rigorous cleaning protocols because there is no fabric layer.
